Cindy Gerber Tomlinson is Principal of Groove Consulting LLC, an Executive Coaching, Mentoring and Training Firm focused on supporting mid-high level executives in businesses of all sizes.
Ms. Gerber Tomlinson believes that companies with a focus on organizational health have a clear path toward competitive advantage, thereby maximizing success. Cindy has over thirty years’ experience in competitive intelligence, sales, global business research, business development, strategic planning, management and marketing with extensive consulting expertise. After inheriting the fledgling division of a boutique consulting firm and building it into the highest revenue producing unit in the history of the company, Cindy decided that even though making sales is exhilarating, helping people directly is more rewarding.
Ms. Gerber Tomlinson has conducted, managed and presented research for numerous client engagements in the biopharmaceuticals, healthcare and telecommunications sectors of the Fortune 500.
Her broad functional experience across her career includes roles as liaison between sales and production, recruitment, administration of seven physician practices, project management, account management, and new business development. Her experience includes DMCA Direct, St. Joseph Medical Center, Graduate Health System and Pennside Partners. As Global Head of the Healthcare Practice at Fuld & Company, Boston, she also served as Company Officer and contributed to the strategic direction and growth of the firm. For twelve years, Cindy telecommuted and traveled extensively, managing clients and staff throughout the US and Europe.
Cindy enjoys supporting her clients’ growth with strong exploratory, planning and corporate training expertise. She delivers services in Leadership Development, Team Building, and Career Transitioning, key components of which include strengths identification and fulfillment of purpose. She is a trusted advisor, utilizing her proven business acumen while helping clients find meaning in their work, balance in their life, and satisfying paths forward in their careers -- every step of the way exhibiting integrity and benefit.
As a Lean-In Facilitator through the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, Cindy engages small groups of 8-10 professionals in self exploration, thought-provoking exercises and inspirational opportunities to learn from each other.
Ms. Gerber Tomlinson received her B.A. in Comparative Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and her Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. She has also studied at the Shanghai Institute for International Studies in China, Charles University in the Czech Republic, and Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico. She is a member of Power of the Purse of Berks County, and has served on several Boards of non-profit organizations. Cindy lives with her husband, teen-age son, two dogs and a horse in Reading, Pennsylvania.
